About

We read the studies so the headline doesn't have to lie to you.

Every article here links directly to the paper, trial, or review it's summarizing — no "studies show" without a study attached.

Most nutrition content online falls into one of two categories: generic advice nobody can act on, or bold claims with no source behind them. This site exists to do the boring, useful thing in between — read the actual 2025-2026 research on food, compounds, and metabolism, and explain what it actually found, in plain language, with the citation attached.

What we do

Each article covers one specific compound, food, or mechanism, sourced from peer-reviewed studies, clinical trials, or systematic reviews published recently. Claims are written to match what the research actually showed — including the caveats, sample sizes, and limitations that headlines usually cut.

What we don't do

We don't sell supplements based on these articles, and we don't inflate a single small study into a universal truth. Where a claim comes from one trial rather than a body of evidence, the article says so.

Corrections

If a source is misread or a study is later retracted or contradicted, we'd rather fix it than leave it up. Reach out if you spot something.
